I think they’ve once again nailed the outfit for this Battle Pass. It is beautiful, and I love the colors and really enjoy the flowy design.
I also really love the Magpie Whisper accessory. It’s absolutely adorable!
I’m happy to see them switch up the outfit appearances a bit from Vol. 1, giving us a hat and a small hanging accessory instead of a hairstyle and the medium accessory. I’m hoping they continue to include fun surprises in the Battle Passes to come!
Scenario Items
They’ve also included a few Scenario Items in the paid Battle Pass. I’m not someone who spends a lot of time creating different scenarios for my character, but I do enjoy switching things up every now and then. This particular background isn’t my personal favorite, but I can definitely see why other players might enjoy it and make good use of it.
They are also including a Scenario Inscription. These are similar to stickers that you can place anywhere within a scenario. If you enjoy customizing your scenes, you can create some very unique displays with them.
Other Rewards Just like the Blade Out Vol. 1 Battle Pass, the free Vol. 2 Pass offers a solid selection of useful rewards. You’ll earn various resources, workshop items, Battle Pass tokens that can be spent in the Battle Pass shop, Echo Jades, and cosmetic chests along the way. These rewards are great for steady progression and customization, even if you stick to the free tier.
The paid tiers build on this by offering increased quantities of those same rewards, along with several additional accessory-type items. While they may not be the main highlights of the Battle Pass, these extras are a nice bonus that can add value over time, especially for players who enjoy collecting cosmetics and staying stocked on materials.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I’m really happy with what Blade Out: Volume 2 brings to the table. The rewards feel well thought out, the outfit is a clear standout, and it’s nice to see them mix things up compared to Vol. 1. While not every reward will be for everyone, there’s still plenty of value here, and it leaves me feeling excited and optimistic about what future Battle Passes might bring.
Also, don’t feel obligated to buy this Battle Pass. If you like what’s in it and you’re able to, then absolutely go for it. It’s a simple way to support the developers, but it’s by no means required. If you’re on the fence, I recommend waiting until you’re further into the pass. That way, you can better judge whether you’ll realistically reach Level 80 before spending money.
