My Favorite Battle Pass Reward
I’m a sucker for a beautiful outfit in any game, and this premium outfit in the first Battle Pass immediately caught my eye. The dress is elegant, the hairstyle is gorgeous, and the accessory ties everything together perfectly. All three pieces feel like real winners, and honestly, they’re some of my favorite items in the entire pass.

Other Rewards
There are several other rewards, on top of the Development Materials and Workshop items, that I think are pretty cool to have in the Battle Pass. The Battle Pass Surprise Chest is one of them. I’m not a huge fan of random chance–type chests, but what are you gonna do lol. Even so, I still like the concept and the idea of potentially getting some fun items from it.

The Cosmetic Chests are another reward. They’re a bit of a gamble, but still a fun chance to pick up some nice new cosmetics.

Another interesting reward you can get in the Battle Pass is the Battle Pass Chest, which grants you 4 Battle Pass Tokens (you will receive quite a few of these from the free Battle Pass, along with several more from the paid one) and a chance to get a Lingering Melody, the material used to draw in the gacha system.

The Battle Pass Tokens that you have been receiving can then be used in the Battle Pass Shop. This shop has a variety of items, mainly consisting of Scenario Decorations, Accessories, Emotes, Inscriptions, Poses, Exploration items, and Dyes.

I’ve already mentioned this item, but it’s another big one that I think players who want to use the gacha system without spending a lot of money will appreciate. This item is the Lingering Melody, which you receive in the paid Battle Pass. Granted, I’ve heard the gacha system in this game can be a bit harsh, but still, you can save these Lingering Melodies until you have a 10-pull or two.

Final Thoughts
Overall, this first Battle Pass gives me a good idea of what to expect from future passes, and I’m pretty happy with what I’ve received so far. It feels on par with Battle Passes in other games, and I’m glad to support this free game by purchasing it when I have the means. I’m hopeful that future passes continue to include outfits, hairstyles, accessories, and maybe even some weapon skins eventually.
Also, don’t feel obligated to buy this. If you like what’s in it and you’re able to, then absolutely go for it! It’s a simple way to support the developers, but it’s by no means a must. If you’re on the fence, I recommend waiting until you’re further into the pass. That way, you can see whether you’ll realistically reach Level 80 before spending money. I waited until I got to Level 45, so I still have 16 days left to finish the remaining 35 levels.
